I find myself drawn to the Home Depot every time now. Excited? Maybe.. But really. Friends would call me on the weekend only to find out that I am at the Home Depot again. Lawrence started teasing me about it since him and his wife could not find me at home on the weekends. This last weekend I spent the whole morning learning how to lay down wall and floor tiles, grouting and re-grouting tile and even changing damaged tiles. Man since the home inspector told me that I need to change the grout in the washroom, I have become obsessed about learning how to fix tiles. Well it won't be till February so got a bit more time still. But I really got to break out of this habit hehehe. I asked Maureen if I could get a Dremel motor tool and flatly she told me NO. Guess I better find someone at work who has one or else it would take forever to re-grout the washroom. Oh well till next time.

Dang! Work is going full steam and I am still on holiday mode. Wish I was still in BC, lazing under the sun by the lake, then have a late dinner with my brother at his favourite haunt. It actually is a Sushi place, and damn cheap. Am staring out the window and all I can see are buildings, miss seeing the mountain on the horizon. Damn man, baliw na ako. Better concentrate on work or else we might stay late pa. Next week will be crazier with one person going on holidays. Oh well Al will b back to cover for me while I concentrate on the other projects. But all is ok. Got a call from Maureen, feels different but good. Because now when we talk its like about the plan for next year na. We spent the whole night talking last night about the wedding and all,it was really fun last night. Ended up having quite a few laughs as well. Guess I better talk to my suppliers in getting a print job for free. Nice to know that I can make use of my contacts now.

Just got back from holidays and boy is it ever busy at work now. Wish I stayed longer. Went to Vancouver and was it ever amazing. Weather was nice the whole time. 23 degrees and only had 2 mornings of rain. Makes me really want to consider moving to BC na. Victoria was fabulous, more so the whale watching, now that was a trip. Really had a good time specially going up Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver. Most memorable now is Whistler Mountain. Such a lovely place it is, for sure it will be a lot nicer come 2010 for the Winter Olympics. But more so Whistler means a lot more to me now. She said yes last Friday, July 4. While going up on a gondola to Whistler Mountain, I popped the question and she said yes after a moment of disbelief. It was just perfect. Can not ask for more. Yes now it is formal, I guess until our parents hear about it
( have not had the time since we got back). We are now engaged, sure feels different. Another level. Sure feels great.

Well it is that time of the year again. Christmas is just around the corner. Funny I really look forward to going home this time. Whole family will be complete for the first time, and my nephew Kevin will be there. First time to see him too. Wonder how that would be. Timing sure is difficult come the Christmas holidays, she leaves on the 18th and I leave on the 24th, She comes back on the 26th and I come back on the 2nd of January 2003. And work is just going bonkers, got to get majority of the projects and ads out by the 20th of December, toxic really. Hmmmmmm.

Well here is to everyone, Happy Holidays!
